A More Personal Approach to Pain Management
Peak Spine & Sports Medicine was built around the kind of pain management experience we would want for our own family members. That means more time, more explanation, more organization, and more attention to what each patient actually needs.
Pain can affect nearly every part of life. It can change how you work, sleep, move, travel, exercise, parent, socialize, and think about the future. Because of that, our care does not begin with a procedure. It begins with a conversation.
We take time to understand where your pain is located, how it behaves, what makes it better or worse, what you have already tried, and what activities matter most to you. From there, our team works to create a plan that is specific, practical, and focused on helping you move forward.

Concierge Care with Insurance Access for Many PPO/POS Patients
Peak Spine & Sports Medicine offers concierge-level pain management care with insurance access for many eligible patients who have PPO or POS plans with out-of-network benefits.
This model is an important part of how we protect the patient experience. By remaining selective with insurance, we are able to maintain a smaller, more personalized practice with more time for education, coordination, and follow-up on personalized treatment plans – not cookie-cutter solutions. This also allows our team to perform more appeals and approval requests from insurance. Many practices do not have the ability to perform multi-level appeals and reapproval requests. We don’t stop at 2 tries like everybody else.
Many patients are surprised to learn that out-of-network care with PPO/POS benefits may be more cost-effective than they expected. Our team can help review benefits, explain the process, and determine whether Peak Spine & Sports Medicine is a good fit.
Peak Spine & Sports Medicine does not participate with EPO, HMO, Medicare, or Medicaid plans. This allows our office to see new and existing patients quickly while maintaining the level of care and access our patients expect.

Opioid-Free Interventional Pain Care
Peak Spine & Sports Medicine is an opioid-free pain management practice.
Our approach centers on targeted interventional care because many pain problems are focal. A painful joint, irritated nerve, disc issue, facet joint, SI joint, or muscle problem often requires a targeted solution. Medication taken by mouth circulates through the whole body, which can mean larger doses, more side effects, limited benefit, and no clear endpoint.
Interventional pain management is different. It is designed to identify the source of pain and treat it directly. Focal problems, focal solution.
When appropriate, our physicians may use image-guided injections, nerve blocks, ablation procedures, stimulation therapies, regenerative options, and conservative care support to help patients move toward better function. The goal is to provide meaningful relief without relying on opioids or medication-first care.

Where Does It Hurt?
Pain can be difficult to describe, especially when it travels from one area to another. Back pain may move into the leg. Neck pain may radiate into the shoulder or arm. Hip-region pain may come from the hip joint, lower back, SI joint, or surrounding soft tissues.
Our Where Does It Hurt? section is designed to help patients begin with the area that bothers them most.
Patients can explore care by body region, including:
These pages are meant to help patients better understand possible sources of pain, common symptoms, and treatment options that may be considered after a proper evaluation.
Conditions We Treat
Peak Spine & Sports Medicine helps patients with many common and complex pain conditions. Some patients come to us with a diagnosis already in hand. Others know they are in pain but are still trying to understand where the pain is coming from.
Our condition pages are designed to help patients learn more about their symptoms, possible pain generators, and non-surgical treatment options.
Common conditions we evaluate and treat include:
- Sciatica
- Scoliosis
- Herniated or bulging discs
- Arthritis
- Neuropathy and nerve pain
- Degenerative disc disease
- Spinal stenosis
- Radiculopathy
- Complex regional pain syndrome
- Fibromyalgia
- Headaches and migraines
- Failed back surgery syndrome
- Diabetic neuropathy
- Types of pain
Each condition is different, and the right treatment depends on the patient’s symptoms, exam findings, imaging when appropriate, goals, and response to prior care. Our team does not start with assumptions. We work to identify the most likely source of pain before recommending treatment.
Our Treatments
Our Pain Relief and Regenerative Therapies in New Jersey
Injections and Nerve Blocks
Many patients begin interventional pain care with therapy and imaging and possibly targeted injections or nerve blocks. These procedures may help reduce inflammation, calm irritated nerves, improve mobility, and clarify where pain is coming from.
At Peak Spine & Sports Medicine, injections and nerve blocks are performed with precision and intention. When appropriate, live X-ray guidance may be used so that the physician can see the treatment area in real time and confirm accurate placement.
Our injection and nerve block treatments include:
- Epidural Steroid Injections
- Facet Joint Injections
- Nerve Root / Selective Nerve Blocks
- SI Joint Injections
- Trigger Point Injections
- Joint & Extremity Injections
- Medial Branch Blocks
- Nerve Blocks
- Botox Injections for Migraines
For many patients, these procedures are one part of a larger plan. The response to an injection can help guide the next step, whether that means therapy, activity modification, additional diagnostic care, radiofrequency ablation, neuromodulation, or another treatment option.
Ablation and Neuromodulation
Some patients need a longer-lasting or more advanced interventional option, especially when pain has not improved enough with conservative care or simpler procedures.
Ablation and neuromodulation treatments are designed to target pain signals more directly. Depending on the diagnosis, these options may help patients with chronic back pain, neck pain, knee arthritis, nerve pain, failed back surgery syndrome, CRPS, diabetic neuropathy, and other persistent pain conditions.
Our ablation and neuromodulation options include:
These treatments are not right for every patient, but they can be powerful options when the pain source is well understood and the patient is a good candidate. Our team explains the purpose of each procedure, what it is designed to treat, and how it may fit into a broader pain management plan.
Disc Procedures
Medial Branch Radiofrequency Ablation in Marlton & Collingswood, NJ for lorem, ipsum, and dolor.
Disc-related pain can be frustrating because symptoms may vary widely. Some patients feel pain primarily in the lower back or neck, while others experience radiating pain, numbness, tingling, weakness, or leg and arm symptoms.
Peak Spine & Sports Medicine offers advanced options for select disc-related pain conditions. Depending on the patient’s diagnosis and anatomy, this may include:
Disc procedures require careful patient selection. A herniated disc, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, compression fracture, or chronic disc-related pain pattern may require a different approach. Our team evaluates the full picture before recommending the next step.
Regenerative Medicine
Facet Joint Injections in Marlton & Collingswood, NJ for lorem, ipsum, and dolor.
Regenerative medicine may be considered for certain joint, tendon, ligament, or soft tissue concerns when the goal is to support healing, reduce pain, and improve function without surgery.
At Peak Spine & Sports Medicine, regenerative options may include:
These treatments are not one-size-fits-all. The best candidates are selected based on their diagnosis, goals, overall health, imaging findings when appropriate, and the specific tissue being treated. Our team will explain when regenerative medicine may be reasonable and when another treatment option may be more appropriate.
A Team That Helps Carry the Process with You
Pain care can involve appointments, imaging, insurance questions, procedure scheduling, therapy referrals, follow-up instructions, and decisions about next steps. For patients already dealing with pain, that process can feel overwhelming.
Peak Spine & Sports Medicine works to reduce that burden.
Our team helps patients move through care with clarity and confidence. That may include answering questions, coordinating imaging, helping with MRI authorization when possible, preparing patients for procedures, explaining aftercare, and supporting follow-up planning.
